the nature of ecstasy...

autumn reverie: ecstasy
scanned, assembled and altered image

... a vessel/portal of roses and light... inspired by hildegard von bingen's canticles of ecstasy...

a reading from jelal al-din rumi:

this moment this love comes to rest in me,
many beings in one being.
in one wheat grain a thousand sheaf stacks.
inside the needle's eye a turning night of stars.

resources for the journey:

sequentia, hildegard von bingen: canticles of ecstasy
jelal al-din rumi, the essential rumi, translated by coleman barks

and remembering tea and friends...

organic red mellow bush rooibos, from numi

may all travelers find joy!
